This workshop explores the history and practical examples of how to anoint one's head, wrap a gelé, adorn the body with ornaments, and to employ cloth as protective devices to safeguard one's aura and affirm one's culture.

Each participant should bring enough cloth to wrap a gelé or headtie, and special items they have curated to craft into a jewelry piece to adorn themselves. I will provide the wire, and beading supplies.
